Blessing at St. James, Bay City

On Sunday morning, I celebrated the Eucharist with the people of St. James Parish in Bay City and blessed a new statue of their patron that now graces the church campus. That morning, the community also sent fourthfor 15 missionaries from the parish who are doing the work of Christ in the African country of Zambia July 29 - Aug. 8. More than 100 people pray outside abortion clinic

I’m a deep believer in the power of prayer, and I want to thank all of those who joined me in prayer outside the Women’s Health Care Clinic today, Saturday July 10. I plan to pray outside the clinic again, and I encourage others to go there and pray for the values of life. A simple prayer, without saying another word, is a very powerful thing to do.

50th Anniversary Mass for St. Maria Goretti Parish, Bay City

Our Lady, Chesaning

Today I was able to celebrate Mass and visit with students at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Chesaning as they prepare to conclude their school year. It is always a blessing to be in the company of young people. 

Cemetery Blessing in Frankenmuth

It was great to be in Frankenmuth on Sunday to bless the first Catholic cemetery. What a wonderful celebration for the people of Blessed Trinity Parish!
