Dedication of New Altar in Beal City
I was blessed to celebrate Mass on Sunday with the people of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Beal City. While there, I dedicated and consecrated a beautiful new altar, depositing, within it, the relics of three martyrs, anointing its surface with sacred chrism oil, and incensing it. Enjoy the photos below, which were provided courtesy of the parish.

Mass and Visit with Students at Sacred Heart School in Gladwin
I visited today with students at Sacred Heart School in Gladwin and celebrated Mass with them, their families and other parishioners there. While Catholic Schools Week is celebrated across our nation this week I have had the chance to visit many of our schools during the past two weeks and I am looking forward to visiting others next week. So, Catholic Schools Week is really three weeks to me! What a joyful blessing it is to spend time with the young Church! Enjoy the video post of my homily today and pictures from my visit to the school.
